An active member of the Phoenix community, Jenkins is a member of The Thunderbirds, the current 2021 Waste Management Phoenix Open chairman, life member of the Fiesta Bowl, and vice president and member of the board of directors of Horizon Little League. He holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Arizona and a juris doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law.

Jenkins and his fellow honorees will be recognized during the "2020 Most Admired Leaders" virtual event on December 1.
