Christopher M. Guthrie, Associate

Biography

Christopher Guthrie is a member of the firm's Health & Life Sciences Practice Group. He focuses his practice on state and national health law matters, including:

  • providing guidance to hospitals, hospital systems, practitioners, pharmacies and prescription drug distributors on health care transactions and regulatory and compliance matters;
  • advising hospitals on operational matters involving patient care, practitioner credentialing and corrective action, and professional practice regulation; and
  • assisting hospitals and other health care providers in navigating and responding to government investigations and inquiries related to billing and compliance, caregiver misconduct, and CMS surveys and audits.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a middle- and high-school special education teacher. He previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique.
