Proudly Serving Molson Coors
The ties that bind Molson Coors Beverage Company and Quarles & Brady have developed in the context of a sincere and loyal relationship that has been growing and evolving for more than 50 years. The firm takes great pride in the history of this relationship, the insights into the beer industry that we have cultivated though learning it the Molson Coors way, and the great success our client has achieved on a global scale.
At Molson Coors, the customer is at the heart of everything they do. Here at Quarles & Brady, we've tried to reflect that attention back on our client, providing Molson Coors with the sound, proactive counsel that has helped them succeed in becoming America's best beer company. We seek business solutions to legal issues in a way that is efficient and protective of our client's resources, while also promoting its business goals and expectations. Our passion for the work we do on behalf of Molson Coors is driven by a steady commitment to serve our client's needs.
Our dedicated Molson Coors Client Service Team continually strives to be as informed as possible about our client's business and its people. The team proactively considers Molson Coors' business and legal needs, identifies opportunities to improve business results, and helps the company act on them. Through our "More with Less" program, we offer free services and training opportunities for Molson Coors representatives. We have also served as able stewards for the company through some of their biggest transactions, including those that re-shaped the landscape of the beer industry. The team completed the company's sale to South African Breweries (SAB) in 2002, resulting in the formation of SABMiller plc, then served as lead counsel in the merging of Miller Brewing Company and Coors Brewing Company in 2007, which resulted in the formation of MillerCoors (now Molson Coors). That above-the-fold deal included helping the client negotiate the joint venture agreement, operating agreement, and ancillary agreements, drafting disclosure documentation, advising the client with respect to various corporate governance policies, assisting in transition planning, and advising with respect to various regulatory matters.
However, we don't rest on our past success. Our attorneys spend hundreds of hours every year to be completely informed and up-to-date on Molson Coors business, and the industry at large, efforts we believe to be imperative to providing the highest level of service our client deserves.
Attend a Quarles & Brady function, and you are sure to see signs announcing that we "Proudly Serve Only Molson Coors Products." In truth, that pride runs deeper than even those products, decades deeper, born of a loyalty that began when Louis Quarles sat on the board of Miller Brewing Company. We don't just proudly serve Molson Coors products—we proudly serve Molson Coors.
