Biography
Eric Genin handles complex commercial real estate and finance related transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of real estate and business entities, corporate and real estate finance, commercial leasing, and other related corporate and real estate matters. He regularly represents investors, developers, landlords and tenants in matters involving hotels, retail shopping centers, office buildings, industrial buildings multi-family housing complexes, and manufactured housing communities. Eric also has experience working with real estate REITs, mortgage and construction lenders, and other related finance transactions.
Eric's representative experience includes:
- Legal leasing and operational matters at numerous high-end, enclosed shopping malls owned and operated by one of the largest retail real estate REITs in the United States
- Acquisition of multi property retail portfolio from well-known national big-box retailer
- Acquired, structured and financed several 1031 syndicated transactions
- Represented national lenders in mortgage and construction loans
- Negotiated Omnibus Agreements for portfolio wide workouts with multiple national retail tenants
