Data Privacy & Security Webinar Series | Insuring Virtual Assets Against the Very Real Risks of Loss: Insurance Coverage for Data Breach Incidents
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. (Central Time)
Program Overview: The current onslaught of corporate data breach incidents and exposures has led to unprecedented risk management challenges, as the insurance industry has responded to these incidents with a dizzying array of "cyber" liability, crime and first party property policies, while coverage under more traditional policies also potentially remains in play. And, of course, the ubiquity of electronic data use, maintenance and storage means that the stakes are enormous. This webinar will address the legal issues surrounding the insurance and risk transfer aspects of protecting your company or client against the devastating consequences of a data breach.
Who Should Attend: This seminar is designed for in-house counsel, risk managers and other interested corporate executives, and insurance professionals.
We will apply for 1.0 hour of continuing legal education credit in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, and Wisconsin. We will issue a Certificate of Attendance to Arizona attendees as the State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement.
If you are member of another jurisdiction that does not honor CLE credit from AZ, FL, IL, IN, VA, or WI, we will be happy to provide the materials needed in order for you to apply for CLE credit. Please contact Donna Key, our CLE coordinator, at [email protected].
