Gender Identity Issues in the Workplace

Webinar
Webinar Only
 | 01:00 pm - 02:00 pm

Program Overview:

This webinar will discuss recent changes impacting gender identity and the workplace, including an expansion of state and federal laws governing transgender employees, guidance on restroom access issues, best practices for handling workplace transitions and guidance on preventing discrimination and harassment in the workplace. We will also examine the growing area of mandated benefits relating to transgender employees. These include Affordable Care Act provisions which require some, rather modest, transgender-specific benefits.

Registrations must be received by Friday, August 18, 2017.

Who Should Attend:

This seminar is designed for benefits and human resources professionals and in-house counsel with benefit plan oversight. Quarles & Brady reserves the right to limit or restrict attendance to the program.

We will apply for one hour of continuing legal education credit in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, and Wisconsin. We will issue a Certificate of Attendance to Arizona attendees as the State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement.

If you are member of another jurisdiction that does not honor CLE credit from AZ, FL, IL, IN, VA, or WI, we will be happy to provide the materials needed in order for you to apply for CLE credit. Please contact Jennifer Michalski at jennifer.michalski@quarles.com.
