Hannah Torvick is a Legal Specialist - Patent Engineer in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Hannah focuses her practice as a patent engineer on assisting clients in the area of intellectual property, assisting patent practitioners with preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications, and conducting patent searches.
Hannah's technical experience is in the field of electrical engineering. Prior to her career as a Patent Engineer, Hannah worked as a Controls intern at Dematic in the areas of conveyor controls and programming. As an intern at Dematic, Hannah traveled to a variety of existing and new sites to perform program troubleshooting. Hannah also worked at Rockwell Automation as a Business Development Intern in the area of IEC low voltage Motor Control Centers. Her work focused on assessing customer power needs and configuring a cost effective design. At Milwaukee School of Engineering, Hannah's senior design project involved designing, implementing, and testing a combination Bluetooth and blind spot detection system for motorcycle riders.
