Josh Walling is a Patent Engineer in the Intellectual Property Group who focuses on strategic counseling and patent prosecution.
For the last ten years, Josh has been an active military member with the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. During this time in the Air Force, he earned a U.S. Government Security Clearance, completed three overseas wartime deployments, and led a team of airmen in the operation and maintenance of multi-million dollar military assets. In particular, his duties allowed him to gain expertise in the inspection, testing and maintenance of aviation hydraulic systems. While a member of the Air National Guard, Josh excelled in academics to complete a degree in mechanical engineering with high honors. During his degree work, he had an internship with a large automotive manufacturer and gained expertise in valve design, valve inspection and testing, and production line testing and data interpretation.
Josh believes the combination of military, academic and work experience will add value for his clients and colleagues as he applies his experiences to intellectual property work.
