Julie Hughes is a paralegal in the Intellectual Property Practice Group who focuses her work in the areas of trademarks, copyrights and intellectual property litigation.
Julie prepares and files electronic applications, responds to actions, manages registrations and renewals, and conducts trademark searches. She also maintains client trademark and copyright portfolios and assists in the preparation of a variety of licenses, assignments, contracts and agreements. Julie works with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, foreign trademark offices, foreign associates, the U.S. Copyright Office, and processes oppositions and cancellations proceedings with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Additionally, Julie assists attorneys with patent, copyright and trademark infringement litigation in state and federal courts, and conducts infringement research.
