Kevin M. Long

Community Service

As busy as his professional duties keep him, Kevin remains committed to the community at large and gives of his time and talents to several local organizations.

The Greater Milwaukee Committee is a private-sector civic organization whose mission is to contribute to the cultural and economic base of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The organization was formed in the late 1940s and is composed of leaders in business, the professions, labor, education, and philanthropy — all contributing to nonprofit community development.

The Brian D. Hanley Fund, established by The Catholic Community Foundation, was established to provide assistance for those pursuing a Catholic education. It was established in 2004, with many generous gifts from family and friends. Brian and his family had discussed how they could ensure that his spirit continued on and agreed that the Brian D. Hanley Fund would be a great way to continue to support education by giving those in need an opportunity to attend Catholic Memorial High School and Marquette University. Kevin sits on the board.

Holy Family Parish

Holy Family Parish is one of the largest north shore parishes. The parish school is a top-flight educational institution earning “Exemplary” status from the Milwaukee Archdiocese. Kevin was a trustee from 2008 to 2012, and chair of the Finance Committee from 2012 to 2017.

St. Thomas More Society is a professional association that promotes the mutual interaction of faith and culture in the realm of law and public policy. Since 2016, Kevin has served on the Board of Directors for the Milwaukee chapter.

Kevin is very involved in the support of this Catholic all-girls school. He presently serves as the Treasurer of the Parents Athletic Association.
