Kirti Reddy is an experienced litigation attorney focused on federal and state investigations involving the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law and similar fraud statutes. She regularly draws on her experience to provide practical advice on:

Before joining Quarles, Kirti was an assistant United States attorney in the Southern District of New York, Civil Division, where she was lead counsel on a number of investigations and was responsible for issuing subpoenas and obtaining documents, interviewing and deposing witnesses, and negotiating settlements. Her extensive government experience enables her to provide clients with the government’s perspective while zealously defending an investigation or enforcement action.

- Advises health care entities, including pharmacies, wholesale distributers, laboratories and other health care providers, entering contractual agreements, joint ventures and other arrangements under the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.

- Representation of medical laboratory to conduct internal investigation relating to Anti-Kickback Statute False Claims Act and Stark Law violations.
- Defense of a substance abuse clinic under DOJ investigation relating to billing codes and kickbacks.
- Defense of a national pharmacy chain impacting multiple stores before board of pharmacy.
- Representation of a nonprofit organization to conduct an internal investigation relating to grant fraud.
- Successfully obtained a TRO on behalf of a pharmacy benefits manager to temporarily halt the rescission of its license.
- Defended a Fortune 100 company in a federal False Claims Act investigation that resulted in a favorable settlement.
