Four (Illinois, California, New York and Washington DC).

What is your favorite drink?
Coke Zero.

What is your favorite month?
October (my birthday).

What inspires you?
My family.

If you chose a quote to live by, what would it be?
The great Daniel Burnham quote that inspires our city.
" Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood."

What is your greatest accomplishment?
My two kids.

What has been your most embarrassing experience at Q&B?
Thankfully I don't have one that sticks out.

What experience at Q&B has been the most fun?
The work I've done with the summer program.

What advice would you give to a law student?
Get to know your professors, they are a great resource and could open future opportunities.  

What is your greatest professional success?
While it is always nice to win a case, to me I feel greater pride when I am able to make my client's job easier by anticipating a need in their business before they do.

What class should you have taken in law school?
I'll pass along advice I received in law school, which is not to take family law if it is not what you want to do so that you can avoid getting involved in those issues with family and friends.

Who has given you the best advice about practicing law and what was that advice?
Advice from my father - "Take your work seriously, but don't take yourself too seriously."

What makes you laugh?
Really bad knock, knock jokes from my 5 year old son.

What is the best thing about Q&B?
The people.

What do you do for fun?
I love checking out different neighborhood festivals, its one of the best things about living in Chicago.

What is great about working in Chicago?
Chicago is a great place to practice with a large and active legal community.
