Just one - Florida.
What is your favorite drink?
I don't really have one - I love coffee, tea, LaCroix, and IPAs.
What is your favorite month?
October - when we get the first occasional cool day, after the relentless heat of summer.
What inspires you?
People who are passionate and skilled at what they do.
If you chose a quote to live by, what would it be?
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Being named an All-American soccer player my senior year in college. I played soccer almost every day growing up and it consumed my life in college, so it was awesome to see the hard work pay off!
What has been your most embarrassing experience at Q&B?
The one that comes to mind is going to the Hilton bar near our office for a happy hour after work when my coworker told me that everyone was meeting at the "the hotel bar". Apparently a new bar had opened in the building down the street actually called "the hotel bar" - everyone knew this except for me!
What experience at Q&B has been the most fun?
Winning legal battles in contentious cases - really feeds my competitive nature!
What advice would you give to a law student?
Work hard but maintain balance in your life.
What is your greatest professional success?
To be determined (hopefully!)
What class should you have taken in law school?
Who has given you the best advice about practicing law and what was that advice?
My dad - always be the more prepared attorney.
What makes you laugh?
My husband and our pets.
What is the best thing about Q&B?
The atmosphere - our firm demands quality work but recognizes the benefits of balance.
What do you do for fun?
Walk my dogs, read crime and mystery novels, watch movies, and spend time with my family.
What is great about working in (your city)?
It has a small town feel with some of the benefits of a bigger city.
