How many states or countries have you lived in?
I have lived in three countries (Afghanistan, Germany and the United States). I have lived in one state (Indiana).
What is your favorite drink?
Nothing beats a cold Diet Coke.
What is your favorite month?
July, because the days are long and bright.
What inspires you?
My parents inspire me. As first generation immigrants, they have had to overcome numerous obstacles. Despite the challenges, they have maintained an incredible sense of optimism and built a remarkable life.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Prosecuting and convicting countless child predators and sex offenders.
What has been your most embarrassing experience at Q&B?
I have not had one yet. (Knock on wood).
What experience at Q&B has been the most fun?
It has been a lot of fun getting to know my colleagues both at the Indianapolis office and other Q&B offices.
What advice would you give to a law student?
Strive for authenticity.
What is your greatest professional success?
My greatest professional success has been convicting a serial rapist of burglarizing, robbing, intimidating three women at knife point, one of which was a single mother. Knowing that he is not going to be able to harm anyone else is an indescribable feeling.
What class should you have taken in law school?
Tax law and secured transactions.
Who has given you the best advice about practicing law and what was that advice?
A supervisor at the Marion County Prosecutor's Office told me early on to follow my instincts. And after many years of following his advice, I'm convinced he was right.
What makes you laugh?
What is the best thing about Q&B?
The people and the fact that it truly is one long hallway.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending as much time as possible with my family and close friends.
What is great about working in Indianapolis?
Indianapolis is a great city, but I what like the most about it is its close proximity to my family.
