How many states or countries have you lived in?
I grew up in Illinois and have lived in Wisconsin since 2011. I lived in Granada, Spain for six months in 2010.
What is your favorite drink?
Non-alcoholic: La Croix. Alcoholic: Whiskey Old Fashioned (Sour)
What is your favorite month?
December. It's my birthday month and Christmas -- I still enjoy all the presents.
What inspires you?
More of a "who": My fiancé and my family.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Graduating Summa Cum Lade from Marquette and getting my associate offer from Q&B!
What has been your most embarrassing experience at Q&B?
There are many …. But I would say the top of the list is forgetting to use a coffee filter when I made coffee as a summer associate, which resulted in coffee grounds covering most of the 28th floor break room and a floor-wide email regarding the explosion.
What experience at Q&B has been the most fun?
My time as a summer associate.
What advice would you give to a law student?
Do mock interviews.
What is your greatest professional success?
While working with Mike Aldana we obtained a very favorable damages award for our client in a case where plaintiffs sought (and could have potentially received) more than $8,000,000 in penalties.
What class should you have taken in law school?
Pre-trial practice or Advanced Civil Procedure.
Who has given you the best advice about practicing law and what was that advice?
I've heard this excellent advice from a few people: Don't burn any bridges because you never where someone will end up!
What makes you laugh?
Without fail, Arrested Development Seasons 1 and 2.
What is the best thing about Q&B?
The people. The Starbucks machine on the 25th floor is a close second, though.
What do you do for fun?
When I am not attending a wedding (which is about all I've done with my free time the past year) I like to try new restaurants and spend time with my niece.
What is great about working in (your city)?
Milwaukee is an awesome city to work in. I love being right by the lake and my commute is about 4 minutes (I know I should be walking to work …).
