Leah A. Tinney, Associate


Leah Tinney is a member of the firm's Health Law Practice Group. Her practice includes assisting providers, pharmacies, and prescription drug distributors with regulatory compliance and transactional matters. Specifically, Leah advises health care entities in the following areas:

  • Provider licensure and scopes of practice
  • False Claims, Anti-Kickback, and Stark laws
  • State and federal controlled substance reporting
  • Telemedicine and telepharmacy regulations
  • Healthcare antitrust issues

Leah also has experience working with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

Prior to joining the firm, Leah drafted policy statements and grant-compliance documents for health-related nonprofits. She has also volunteered at local Arizona charities that relate to her health care practice.
