Adriane Hofmeyr Appointed as Secretary of ACLPI09/28/17
TUCSON, Ariz. — Quarles & Brady LLP is pleased to announce that Adriane Hofmeyr, a partner in its Tucson office has been appointed as Secretary to the Board of the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest (ACLPI).
ACLPI is a private, non-profit, public interest law firm dedicated to representing the people of Arizona on issues including clean air and water, access to education and school finance reform, open government, health care, consumer rights, campaign finance reform, and the protection of public lands and natural resources.
Hofmeyr is a member of the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation, appeals, administrative litigation, and administrative hearings. She is also a professor of practice at James E. Rogers College of Law, where she presents a class called “Practicalities of Suing Government” to 3L law students.
She received her bachelor's and law degrees from Rhodes University and her masters of laws from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
