NAPLES, FLA. (August 14, 2018) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Alicia L. Taylor, an attorney in the firm’s Naples office, has graduated from Class X of the Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agricultural and Natural Resources (WLIANR).
WLIANR develops and refines the capabilities of leaders in Florida agriculture and natural resources, selected for the program following a rigorous nomination and interview process. The 22-month journey explores all facets of Florida's economy with an emphasis on its agricultural sectors, creating an understanding of social, economic, and political systems while cultivating the skills necessary to lead the industry through inner-personal analysis and the creation of strong strategic alliances. Class X experienced over 55 days of programming, including expeditions to Washington, D.C., Colorado, Wyoming, South Africa, Swaziland, and Scotland.
Taylor is a seventh generation Floridian whose family is actively involved in Florida's cattle and citrus industries. She is an attorney in the firm’s Estate, Trust & Wealth Practice Group and focuses her practice in the areas of estate, tax, and business succession planning and administration. Taylor received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, Doctor of Law, magna cum laude, and Master of Laws in taxation all from the University of Florida.
