American College of Mortgage Attorneys Selects Partner Rasha Elganzouri Gad as Fellow12/01/20
Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP is pleased to announce that Rasha Elganzouri Gad, a partner in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, has been selected to the 2021 fellowship class of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). Gad is one of two attorneys elected in Illinois this year.
Founded in 1974, ACMA is a nomination-only organization of counsel in the United States and Canada who are recognized by their peers as distinguished practitioners in the field of real estate finance based upon the high caliber of their legal skills, knowledge, experience and professionalism as well as dedication to giving back to the community. “Rasha’s selection as a Fellow of ACMA is a well-deserved honor,” said Brad Vynalek, President of Quarles & Brady LLP. “The ACMA selection process is rigorous and only the most knowledgeable and experienced real estate finance experts in the nation are selected each year.”
Gad's practice covers complex commercial real estate and finance transactions, including representing lenders with loan origination, permanent financing, mezzanine financing and loan workouts. She also represents real estate developers in connection with the acquisition, sale, financing, leasing and development of real estate. She represents clients in a variety of practice areas including senior living, multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use projects.
Gad is a bilingual attorney with over twenty years of experience representing clients in the United States and Middle East. She received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a B.A. from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame. Gad is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars. She serves on the Board of the Chicago Mortgage Attorneys Association, a Chicago based group of real estate attorneys dedicated to offering continuing legal education workshops in real estate finance law. She is also the founder of the “Emerging Trends” Webinar Series, which is a webinar series on key trends that impact legal and industry professionals in real estate, finance, health services, and other emerging practice areas.
