Westlaw Journal Computer & Internet

Following is an excerpt:

E. King Poor a partner at Quarles & Brady in Chicago who is not involved in the suit, says this case is a classic example of how old principles must integrate new technology.

“Offer and acceptance have been the building blocks for contract formation for hundreds of years — and not reading a contract has never been an excuse for not being bound by its terms,” he said.

TransUnion is asking the 7th Circuit to consider how “these centuries-old principles” apply to the “increasingly common online contract,” Poor said.
