With missed deadlines for many new rules, Dodd-Frank is still a work in progress—yet another reason for calling in legal help. “We're in the early innings still,” says James Kaplan, a partner in Quarles & Brady’s Business Law Practice Group. Just this week, in fact, three more final rules are scheduled to take effect regarding record-keeping and reporting in swaps trading.
