Kelly Lyon Davis Appointed to St. Matthew’s House Board of Trustees

NAPLES, FLA. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Kelly Lyon Davis, an attorney in the firm’s Naples office, has been appointed as a member of the board of trustees for St. Matthew’s House, Inc. As a member of the board, Davis will assist the organization in providing a wide range of life-changing programs to the most vulnerable members of the community.

Davis currently practices in the area of labor and employment law, with an emphasis on employment-related litigation and counseling on employee-related matters. Her experience includes investigating and defending discrimination and harassment charges and lawsuits; litigating wage-and-hour collective actions; resolving a variety of disputes arising from employee separations, including enforcement of covenants not to compete, protection of trade secrets and unfair competition; and advising and implementing appropriate strategies and policies for workplace compliance matters.

Davis regularly appears in federal and state courts, representing employers across a wide variety of industries. She also has extensive experience in general commercial litigation, adoption law and probate litigation. Davis earned her undergraduate degree, with honors, from The Pennsylvania State University and her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
