Kimberly Leach Johnson featured in article “Always making a positive lasting effect”

“I was raised by my parents to try and leave a positive lasting effect on people,” explained the small-town Ohio native. “That was part of our family values. You always give back, every single day.”

After moving to Florida in the late 1970s, she worked as a reserve police officer in Ocala while attending law school. Her plan, initially, was to become a prosecutor, but the bird’s eye view she gained of the legal system caused her to reconsider.
