Below is an excerpt:
As office managing partner of Quarles & Brady LLP and Quarles’ assistant general counsel, Nicole Stanton is naturally a very justice-driven person, so when she saw her late brother Dion France being bullied relentlessly as a child, she knew something had to be done. In 2012, Stanton launched Stop Bullying AZ. The organization sponsored an anti-bullying summit at Arizona State University that year, providing school administrators and teacher with information and strategies to help stop bullying in schools. After receiving tremendous support, Stop Bullying AZ was renamed the Dion Initiative for Child Well-Being and Bullying Prevention (www.dioninitiative.org) and is now located within ASU as a research and resource program.
