Quarles & Brady Designated as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality,” Earns Perfect 2021 Corporate Equality Index Score From Human Rights Campaign

News Release

Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced it has been recognized as a "Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), having received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The firm has received a perfect score every year since 2015.

The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) workplace equality.

“I am thrilled to work at a law firm that has a proven track-record of prioritizing LGBTQ+ equality.” Zachary Eastburn, attorney in Quarles & Brady’s Madison office. "Today’s recognition is a remarkable reminder of Quarles and Brady’s dedicated efforts to fostering an inclusive environment for its LGBTQ+ employees. We are honored to receive our seventh consecutive perfect score from the Human Rights Campaign and look forward to continuing our DEI initiatives. Let’s make it eight!”

Administered by the HRC Foundation, the 2021 CEI evaluates LGBTQ+-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ+ community.

The HRC Foundation represents more than three million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national LGBTQ civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.
