MILWAUKEE  (September 24, 2018) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that it has been selected by The Veterans Consortium (TVC) Pro Bono Program as the 2018 TVC Law Firm Pro Bono Mission Partner, National Leadership.

In a firm-wide pro bono effort, Quarles & Brady partnered with The Veterans Consortium, which assists veterans in obtaining disability benefits earned while serving our country. Over the past two years, Quarles & Brady attorneys have assisted on 12 pro bono cases for veterans, their loved ones, caregivers and survivors, accomplishing significant wins. Additionally, the firm held two specialized training sessions open to community attorneys who were interested in volunteering with The Veterans Consortium.

“The opportunity to provide pro bono services to a veteran strikes a chord with many of the attorneys and staff at the firm. It’s a great way for Quarles & Brady to give back and make a difference for someone who has made a difference for all of us,” said Michael Levey, the firm’s national pro bono partner. “ We are honored to receive this recognition from our friends at The Veterans Consortium.”

Colleen Miller, partner at Quarles & Brady and leader of The Veterans Consortium partnership with the firm, states, “I have been practicing for nearly 11 years and developing Quarles & Brady’s partnership with The Veterans Consortium has been the most rewarding project of my career. This program allows the opportunity to truly make a difference in someone’s life.”
