Quarles & Brady Names Partner Benjamin Brown as New Florida Chair of Litigation

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that its Commercial Litigation Group has named Benjamin Brown as the firm's new Florida Chair of Litigation.

Brown has served as Commercial Litigation Chair for the firm's Naples office since 2016, and in this new role will extend his leadership to include the firm's Tampa office as well.

"I am excited for this new opportunity and challenge," Brown says. "Since the Tampa office was opened in 2010, the Naples and Tampa offices have worked very closely together. This new position will help provide better service to Quarles & Brady's clients through communication and continuity."

Brown has worked as an experienced Florida litigator with Quarles & Brady LLP for nearly 13 years, practicing at both the trial and appellate court levels, with a particular focus on complex business and real estate disputes. His clients include local and national lenders, loan servicers, and professional fiduciaries, and he has represented clients in a range of creditor rights matters, insurance disputes, probate and trust litigation, and title litigation cases.

"Ben has built his reputation and established strong connections in Florida, and we welcome his leadership both in and out of the office," says Ed Salanga, National Chair of Quarles & Brady's Commercial Litigation Group. "We know that he will continue to be a champion for our team of litigators and for our Florida communities."

Brown is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law and is Board Certified in Business Litigation. He is also a member of the Leadership Collier Class of 2018, and has been named as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers from 2009-2019.
