Quarles & Brady Partner Michael Zeka Named a 2018 Leader In The Law02/13/18
The Leaders In The Law Award recognizes the top Wisconsin attorneys who are most influential in their practice area among clients and colleagues and have a strong commitment to their community. A total of 23 lawyers from across the state were selected for the award.
Zeka represents a large health care provider in its real estate projects, including acquisitions, sales and leasing, and also represents developers, retailers and nonprofit organizations. Beyond the office, Zeka serves as chairman of the board and president of Hunger Task Force, Inc., a leading hunger relief agency. In such capacity, he represents the agency in all aspects of its operations, including real estate transactions.
“I’m very honored to be named a Leader In The Law,” said Zeka. “This couldn't have been done if it weren't for my clients, and the support from the firm (especially my long term assistant, Marilee Anderson), my colleagues, and family.”
“We are so proud of Mike and everything he does for our clients, our firm, and the community at large,” said Katie Perhach, Quarles & Brady Milwaukee office Managing Partner. “He is a highly valued source of legal and business advice for our clients as he guides management and general counsel through their real estate and business transactions with a high degree of skill and professionalism. He is an outstanding mentor to our associate attorneys and a servant leader who is working to solve the problem of hunger in our community. He epitomizes a true Leader in the Law and we are so pleased to see him honored by the Wisconsin Law Journal with this award.”
Zeka and the other award recipients will be honored during a ceremony on February 15.
