Real Estate Partners Named to 2017 Most Influential Minority Lawyers List by Crain’s Chicago Business

CHICAGO, Ill. — Quarles & Brady is pleased to announce that Chicago partners Everett Ward and Theodore Yi have been named to The Most Influential Minority Lawyers in Chicago list by Crain's Chicago Business. The inaugural list features 45 women and men who are members of the Chicago-area legal community, many of whom have practiced with distinction for decades.

Ward is a member of the firm's Real Estate group, where he has extensive experience representing financial institutions, REITs, corporations, and other clients in real estate acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions throughout the United States. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) and the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). He also serves on the board and executive committee of the Oak Park Economic Development Corporation, is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Field Museum of Chicago.

Yi is a member of the firm's Real Estate group and firmwide governing Executive Committee. His extensive and varied real estate experience includes a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, with a particular focus on commercial lease transactions representing both owners and users of office, retail, and industrial properties, including technically complex space such as trading floors and data centers. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and serves on the boards of the Chicago Bar Foundation, Chicago Architecture Foundation and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.
