Sherina Maye Edwards Named to Fortnightly Under Forty Awards06/10/19
CHICAGO — Quarles & Brady LLP is pleased to announce that Sherina Maye Edwards, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, has been named to Public Utilities Fortnightly’s “Fortnightly Under Forty Awards.”
This list recognizes young professionals nationally in the utility regulation and policy industry that stand out as the next generation of leaders. Edwards is one of 76 professionals to be chosen for this award.
Edwards is a member of Quarles & Brady’s Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Practice Group, focusing her practice on electric reliability, water, natural gas and critical infrastructure issues.
Edwards founded both the Women’s Energy Summit and the Women’s Energy Network of Chicago, as well had strong influence over the creation of the Illinois Utilities Business Diversity Council and the Illinois Commerce Commission’s Office of Diversity and Community Affairs.
Nationally, she is recognized as a champion for diversity and inclusion within the utility and energy space. She was previously selected as a 2017 Eisenhower Fellow, serving as an ambassador for the United States in South Africa and Australia. Edwards sits on the board of directors at Intren, LLC and SouthWest Water Company.
