2022 Fall Virtual HIPAA COW Conference

Sarah Coyne, Rachel Weiss and Meghan O'Connor will all be presenting at the 2022 Fall Virtual HIPAA COW Conference. Sarah and Rachel will be presenting on November 3 from 8:10 - 9:10 a.m. Their session will discuss recent changes and expected changes in the laws governing privacy or security of health care information and their presentation is titled, "Upcoming Legislation and Recent OCR Guidance." Meghan will be presenting on November 3 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. with her presentation titled, "Common Misconceptions in Privacy and Security." Her session will discuss the common misunderstandings, misinterpretations and mistakes in operationalizing privacy, security and breach notification requirements under HIPAA and state law. Attendees are encouraged to submit suggestions and questions in advance, and they will unpack them (anonymously) during this session.
