Chris Nickels Elected to Board of Ronald McDonald House Milwaukee

News Release

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Chris Nickels has been elected to the board of Ronald McDonald House Milwaukee.

The board is made up of individuals across the Milwaukee community that come from diverse backgrounds and who exemplify leadership while promoting the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). The focus of RMHC is helping families whose lives have been disrupted as a result of a child’s injury or illness. The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home” allowing families to stay together while their child receives critical medical care.

Nickels is a member of the firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group. He represents employers in all labor and employment areas, including providing front-end employment solutions, such as wage and hour audits, FMLA guidance, and employee policy and handbook review, as well as defending employers against claims involving Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance, discrimination, civil rights, wrongful discharge, and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.

He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law and his bachelor's degree, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin.
