Elizabeth A. Orelup Selected as a Wisconsin Law Journal Woman in the Law

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Elizabeth A. Orelup, a partner in the firm's Milwaukee office, was selected as a 2017 Woman in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal.

Women in the Law honorees are the top female attorneys who display outstanding achievement in the practice of law in the state of Wisconsin. This year, 29 women were selected and honored at an awards ceremony on June 7.

Orelup serves as the national chair of the firm's Business Law Practice Group. Her practice focuses on acquisition financing, other commercial finance and business transactions, and distressed credit matters.

"Liz has been a trailblazer for women in the legal industry," said Katie Perhach, Milwaukee office managing partner. "She is a leader in the firm and in the community. I'm proud to be Liz's partner."

Orelup received her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, and her bachelor's degree, from Lawrence University.
