MTS, the only operator of the county transit system since 1975, agreed to accept the bid evaluation data, but the company also won't drop its broader information claim, made under the state open records law, MTS lawyer Eric Van Schyndle said.

The scoring data alone won't provide enough information to know how the decision was made to accept the MV bid rather than MTS' bid, Van Schyndle said. Two other companies also bid on the service, attorneys said, but they didn't identify them.
