​ISBA Appoints Steven Hunter to Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Law Section

CHICAGO, IL — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Chicago partner Steven Hunter has been appointed to the Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Law Section of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA).

The ISBA has 42 sections of jurisdiction and a total 33,000 members statewide. Each section keeps members up to date with state legislation, drafted newsletters, and continuing legal education (CLE) programs. The Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Law Section promotes professional excellence in the areas of commercial law and practice, banking law, and bankruptcy law.

Hunter is a member of the firm's Banking & Financial Institutions Practice Group where he represents financial institutions and banks in commercial loan, multi-creditor/participating loan, lender liability, fraud, and consumer fraud disputes.

He received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and his bachelor's degree from Brown University.
