A Law360 article profiling the inTulsa Visa Network, a Quarles & Brady client seeking to help Ukrainian refugees secure employer sponsorship allowing them to move to Tulsa, included insight about the program from Quarles partner Timothy D’Arduini.

inTulsa Visa Network was started last summer by inTulsa, a nonprofit with the objective of linking skilled people with businesses around the Tulsa region, and the George Kaiser Family Foundation. A Quarles team led by D’Arduini, a Washington-based member of the firm’s Immigration & Mobility team, provides immigration counsel for the program.

An excerpt from the article:

“The inTulsa Visa Network was formed as a response to our ability to leverage the humanitarian parole process to bring Ukrainian people to Tulsa and help them get on their feet and help place them with jobs that would support their immigration pathways," Stan Khrapak, visa network lead of inTulsa, told Law360 Pulse.

Quarles & Brady LLP is inTulsa Visa Network's exclusive immigration counsel for the program, providing legal services on a "low bono" basis.

"This is a unique partnership for Quarles, where we typically do employer-based sponsorship work for a major corporation multinational," Washington, D.C.-based immigration attorney Tim D'Arduini said. "It gave us an opportunity to leverage our inside the beltway know-how, alongside of an evolving new area of the law.”
