Melissa McCord Elected to Board of Our Next Generation
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Melissa McCord has been elected to the board of directors of nonprofit, community-based organization Our Next Generation.
Our Next Generation provides academic support and enrichment programs for central Milwaukee students in kindergarten through high school. Programs include an after-school homework club, an outbound mentoring program that partners with corporate and community organizations, arts programming, and a summer camp.
McCord practices out of the firm's Milwaukee office, where she is a member of the Business Law Practice Group. She focuses her practice on commercial finance, commercial contracting, and other business transactions and general corporate matters.
She received her law degree, summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Ohio University.
