​Quarles & Brady Managing Partner Fred Lautz Appointed to MMAC Board of Directors

Lautz brings extensive business experience into board role

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Managing Partner Fredrick G. Lautz has been appointed to the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) board of directors.

Lautz practices in the firm's Business Law Practice Group, specializing in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities, and has worked with a wide variety of clients, including manufacturing and financial services. He has also played a key role in helping guide Quarles & Brady’s strategic and operational growth in his role as managing partner.

“It’s truly an honor to be selected to the MMAC board of directors,” said Lautz. “I look forward to working with the tremendous group of fellow board members to continue the MMAC’s strong tradition of cultivating and creating more economic development in the Milwaukee area.”

In the community, Lautz advocates for initiatives that improve urban education and close the achievement gap. He is involved with a number of organizations that are making powerful strides toward this end, including Schools That Can Milwaukee and the Greater Milwaukee Committee, where he is a member of the Education subcommittee.
