Tucson Partner Pilar Thomas to be Recognized as “Woman of the Year” During 2022 Arizona American Indian Excellence in Leadership Awards

Tucson, Ariz. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Tucson partner Pilar Thomas (Pascua Yaqui) will be recognized as "Woman of the Year" at the 40th annual 2022 Arizona American Indian Excellence in Leadership Awards on November 30, 2022.

The 2022 Arizona American Indian Excellence in Leadership Awards is organized by the Phoenix Indian Center and highlights leaders whose work impacts the American Indian community statewide and nationally.

Thomas is a board member of the Native American Bar Association of Arizona, a board member of GRID Alternatives and vice-chair at large of the American Bar Association’s Native American Resources Committee. A recent recipient of a number of accolades, she has been listed in Chambers USA (Native American Law) since 2018, was named 2022 Best Lawyers Tucson "Lawyer of the Year" (Native American Law) and named “Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona” for 2022 by AZ Big Media.
