Patrick Dittmer is an Associate in the firm's Public Finance practice group. In that capacity, he assists governmental issuers on State law and federal tax law matters governing the validity and tax-exempt status of debt. He also assists issuers and underwriters on federal securities law matters.
Patrick is also a member of our firm's political law and government affairs compliance team, and assists clients with matters including lobbying registration and reporting, campaign finance issues, political outreach planning, independent expenditures, procurement lobbying, "pay-to-play" compliance and statements of economic interest.
During law school, Patrick worked on international trade and investment matters in the United States Department of Commerce, Office of the Chief Counsel for International Commerce; on cross-border infrastructure and public-private partnership (P3) projects in Bombardier Inc.'s Transportation Systems unit; and during and after law school, on cross-border and China general corporate and investment matters with an international law firm.
