Deep scientific backing for biotechnology patents
Chris Unterberger helps prepare and prosecute patent applications, with a focus on biotechnology. He has experience in molecular and cancer biology, endocrinology and science policy, including memo preparation, policy analysis and science communication.
Chris gained valuable experience in academic research during his time planning, managing and executing a pre-clinical trial of an FDA-approved drug for co-opted use in prostate cancer treatment. Chris also has written science policy memos intended for Wisconsin state legislators and University of Wisconsin-Madison administrators. Additionally, he produced blog posts and podcasts for UW-Madison’s Catalysts for Science Policy and the National Science Policy Network, serving in leadership positions for both entities.
