Patent prosecution counsel with a variety of technologies
Dillon Durnford focuses on patent preparation and prosecution in the areas of electrical engineering, computer science and business methods. He also performs clearance investigations, including preparing claim charts and written opinions of non-infringement. Dillon has drafted and prosecuted dozens of patent applications in diverse technologies, including:
- Digital cameras
- 3D imaging
- Machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Semiconductor devices
- Video streaming, wireless communications and cellular communications
- Network security and various software applications
Prior to joining the firm, Dillon was a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he examined utility applications relating to a wide variety of technologies related to digital cameras.
