Employment counseling, investigations and training
Monique Matar conducts independent investigations and advises employers on best policies and practices for the workplace. She provides training on California and federal anti-harassment laws and requirements, and has represented employers before CalOSHA, the EEOC and Labor Commissioner. Monique also provides training programs and tools for proper internal investigation protocol in response to issues such as:
- Bullying
- Complaints of hostile work environments
- Complaints of discrimination
- Harassment
- Retaliation
- Workplace safety and other issues
A creative problem-solver, Monique utilizes her experience defending employers in single-plaintiff actions to develop proactive and innovative solutions to aid employers and human resources personnel in promoting healthy, happy and productive workplaces.
