Technology and communication prosecution
Sangik Bae assists clients with patent and trademark prosecution, including the clearance and registration of trademarks. His patent prosecution work focuses on computer science and electrical engineering technologies, along with cloud computing-related technologies. In addition, Sangik provides legal opinions on issues such as patentability, infringement and freedom-to-operate, and handles pre-appeals and appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
Prior to entering the legal field, Sangik was a program engineer in South Korea for a major Korean information technology (IT) company. He analyzed complex business transactions and implemented new and innovative business models in its IT system.
