Peter Kaiser is a member of the firm's Business Law Practice Group, where he provides transactional and compliance-related counsel to businesses of every size. Peter’s fund formation practice involves entity formation and regulatory compliance for private equity, venture capital, and angel investment funds, and similar start-up investment companies. As part of his investment management practice, he also advises more traditional investment advisors and broker-dealers on regulatory compliance and general business matters, including by helping his clients respond to requests from state and federal regulators such as FINRA and the SEC. Peter’s securities practice additionally involves assisting clients with private securities offerings and other capital-raising activities.
Peter also maintains a general corporate practice, in which he provides clients with a wide range of general counsel services, including the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts; counsel regarding mergers and acquisitions; and general governance matters.
