Biography
Rory Foster is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group, focusing his practice on patent prosecution, intellectual property licensing, transactional due diligence, and other intellectual property issues.
Rory's experience includes the prosecution of patent applications in a variety of technology classes, including for mechanical, electronic, and algorithmic inventions, strategic building and management of patent portfolios, preparation of infringement, invalidity, and freedom-to-operate opinions, and the licensing of rights in patents, software, and other intellectual property. He has provided intellectual property due diligence for various stock and asset purchase transactions, including mergers of large and small entities, and he has both drafted and negotiated intellectual property provisions for the associated agreements.
