Ryan Torres is a health care attorney focusing on provider reimbursement and supplemental payment issues, and regulatory and compliance issues, including for Medicare and Medicaid; fraud, waste, and abuse; HIPAA; and the Anti-Kickback statute. Ryan advises a variety of health care industry clients, including pharmacies, hospitals, nursing facilities, physician groups, and more.
His experience includes drafting and filing pleadings and motions, preparing and defending depositions, preparing expert witnesses and arguments for presentation at hearings, and appearing on behalf of clients before administrative agencies for hearings and appeals.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was the deputy general counsel of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, where he served as the main legal counsel for the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning.
