Susan Lapinski is a legal assistant with over 30 years experience in the corporate area, with an emphasis on merger and acquisition work. Over the years, she has assisted many clients in various levels and types of mergers and acquisitions, including asset acquisitions, stock purchases, tender offers and triangular and direct mergers. She also has extensive experience in the general corporate area, including entity formation, organization and ongoing maintenance for corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and other types of entities.
In addition, Susan has significant experience in the commercial finance area, with a focus on the Uniform Commercial Code and compliance with Revised Article 9. She has assisted with many commercial finance transactions over the years and has experience working on both the borrower's side as well as the lender's side of a financing transaction.
Susan has been a speaker at a number of educational seminars sponsored by the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin and the Institute for Paralegal Education, including Basics of Corporate Law (1990), Mergers and Acquisitions (1993) and Fundamentals for the Corporate Paralegal in Wisconsin (1995). She has also been a speaker at firm practice group meetings on various corporate-related topics.
