Quarles & Brady Forms New Specialty Practice: Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition Subgroup

MILWAUKEE, WIS. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that it has formed the Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition Subgroup, a specialty practice on matters involving unfair competitive practices.

The subgroup will focus on matters related to trade secrets, non-compete agreements, the duty of loyalty, false advertising and defamation, drawing on the firm’s years of experience in these matters. Other areas of specialty include the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, minimum mark-up cases and consumer protection claims.

“The ultimate goal of the new subgroup is to capitalize upon Quarles & Brady’s wealth of experience in these areas for the benefit of our clients,” said Nicole Druckrey, chair of the Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition subgroup.

“Our clients will benefit from the experience of the attorney they are working with, as well as the experience their attorney has gained in collaborating with others,” said Jeff Morris, a partner in the firm’s new subgroup, who has more than 30 years of experience working on these matters.

Approximately 40 Quarles & Brady attorneys across the firm’s offices are members of the new subgroup.
