Tyler Young is a Patent Engineer in the Intellectual Property Practice Group, where he assists IP clients in the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications and patent searches.
A graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science, Tyler focused his coursework in digital system design and synthesis, electroacoustical engineering, electrodynamics, signals & systems, operating systems, compilers, and artificial intelligence. In the Electrical Engineering Co-op at a global manufacturer and distributor of consumer packaged goods, Tyler worked on projects to upgrade electrical systems such as PLC's that improved performance and maintenance of systems while benefitting safety and efficiency of mill operations. He also gained experience with mechanical systems by designing pneumatic control panels.
Outside the office, Tyler enjoys fitness and cheering on the Badgers and Packers.
